In his explanation, Engr Badmus confirmed and explained that the corporation has successfully completed the redevelopment of 3 low yield boreholes at Mosan Okunola Waterworks to give high yield output/results.
Also rehabilitated, are the processing pumps and restoration of power supply, as test running is currently ongoing. The Water Corporation Boss also added that plans are underway to dig additional new boreholes to complement the existing ones for improved service delivery.
“Recall that Mosan Okunola Waterworks has been facing series of challenges, ranging from low yield boreholes to problem of processing pumps and deficient power supply, among others’, he said. “These have greatly affected the efficiency of the Waterworks, prohibiting it from producing and supplying potable water supply to the residents of Abesan areas and adjoining communities of the State’, stated Engr Badmus.
According to the MD, the cheering news is that operation is expected to resume soon, as the Waterworks is giving new energy and vigour for maximum efficiency towards service delivery in Lagos State.
