Chadash Foundation, a charitable organisation has donated a borehole, foods and laptops to orphanages in Abuja.
Mrs Temitope Adeola, founder of the organisation described the kind gesture as ideal and necessary in showing love and giving the orphans sense of belonging.
Adeola spoke while commissioning a borehole for Adorable Orphanage Home in Lugbe, Abuja on Monday.
She affirmed the commitment of her foundation to alleviating the plight of the downtrodden.
Adeola expressed the willingness of her foundation to continue to make life meaningful to the vulnerable for a greater and better country.
The Chadash Foundation’s founder who called on privileged Nigerians to rescue the orphans from dejection and neglect, said it was time to show them love.
“I call on people to support these orphans because they did not get to this state by their own making.
“You can support them in kind or cash, if you are doctor, you can give them discount when they come for treatment,” Adeola said.
Responding, Pastor James Onu, Pastor of the Adorable Orphanage Home commended Chadash Foundation for remembering the orphans.
Onu called on other organisations to emulate Chadash in charity and support for the downtrodden.
Earlier, Sen Eze Ajoku, owner of Darlez Orphanage Home lauded Chadash for putting smiles on the faces of the orphans.
Ajoku promised to continue to work in collaboration with Chadash in addressing the plight of the vulnerable.
Chadash Foundation made the donations of laptops, foods, and borehole in commemoration of the World Orphanage Day.
