The NNPC Limited (NNPCL) has announced a change of leadership in key management positions of the Company, even as two, now former directors, have been dropped.
The latest strategic appointments, according to a statement by the corporation, is to align with NNPCL’s commitment to building a unified and competent leadership team to drive operational excellence and support the organization’s strategic objectives.
The new appointees are:
- Mr Adedapo A. Segun, appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO); previously held down the post of Executive Vice President, Downstream.
- Mr Isiyaku Abdullahi, Executive Vice President, Downstream
- Mr Udobong Ntia, Executive Vice President, Upstream.
While applauding the merits of those recently appointed, the NNPC Ltd Board and Management also expressed their appreciation to Mr Umar Ajiya and Mrs Oritsemeyiwa A. Eyesan for their outstanding dedication and service to NNPC limited.
Incidentally, Mrs Eyesan represented the NNPC Ltd as Key Note Speaker at the ongoing 42nd Annual Conference of the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE) in Lagos, due to end tomorrow, Thursday, 14th November, 2024.
The changes, says Femi Soneye, NNPCL’S chief image maker, reflect the company’s dedication to enhancing corporate governance, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring long term success in Nigeria’s energy sector.
