NNPCL Disowns Claim of Adulterated Fuel Sales in Bottles and Jerrycans From Its Retail Outlet

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has issued a disclaimer regarding a video circulating online, in which an individual pours a dark liquid claimed to be Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), allegedly purchased from an NNPC Retail outlet at Keffi Flyover.

According to a statement by NNPC Ltd, none of its retail outlets sells adulterated fuel, insisting that after conducting spot checks at all its retail outlets, the company can conclusively confirm that the allegations are unfounded; noting that the product shown in the video was not purchased from any NNPC Retail station. NNPC emphasized that it does not dispense petroleum products into bottles or jerrycans, as depicted in the video.

Furthermore, NNPC Retail Ltd reiterated its commitment to providing only high-quality and safe petroleum products. The company assured the public that it strictly adheres to rigorous standards and quality control measures at every stage of its operations to maintain product integrity and reliability across all its stations.
