In a significant move to strengthen collaboration and foster impactful partnerships, the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Professional Practice Group (PPG) has announced a strategic alliance with SIAO, one of Nigeria’s leading indigenous professional services firms, to elevate its 2025 Workshops and Symposium activities.
This development was unveiled during a recent courtesy visit by Engr. Prisca Kanebi, Chairman of the LCCI PPG and National Chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Petroleum Engineers, to the SIAO corporate headquarters. The visit aimed to explore avenues for deeper cooperation and mutual advancement between the two organizations.
During the engagement, Engr. Kanebi commended SIAO for its remarkable growth and contributions to the Nigerian economy, particularly highlighting the firm’s 20th anniversary milestone and its wide presence across Africa. She also noted SIAO’s active participation in the Chamber’s activities.
Welcoming the delegation, SIAO’s Managing Partner, Mr. Abiodun Ariyibi, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, assuring the PPG of SIAO’s full support and readiness to collaborate on upcoming initiatives. Key among these is the PPG Networking Dinner slated for May 29, 2025, as well as the group’s annual Workshops and Symposium.
“Our discussions were not only forward-thinking but also rich in value. We addressed pressing global economic trends and their implications for our members. There was a strong focus on enhancing accountability and financial discipline, particularly at the corporate level,” said Kanebi, describing the meeting as a resounding success.
The visit concluded with a ceremonial exchange of gifts, including a commemorative plaque from the LCCI and a gift pack from SIAO, symbolizing the start of a promising partnership.
Among the distinguished attendees were Yeye Adenike Shobanjo, Past Vice President of LCCI and CEO of AS+A Communications; Dr. Alex Ajibo, FCA, FCIB, a practicing accountant and Vice Chairman of the SME Group at LCCI; Mr. Hakeem B.
