The management and staff of NNPC Ltd. have welcomed the appointment of Mr. Bayo Ojulari as the new Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) and the newly constituted Board of Directors by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a statement released earlier today, Wednesday by its Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye, NNPC Ltd. acknowledged the leadership and dedication of the outgoing GCEO, Mr. Mele Kyari, stating: “Mr. Kyari’s leadership and tireless efforts have left an indelible mark on NNPC Ltd., and we are sincerely grateful for his outstanding contributions.”
The company further expressed appreciation for Mr. Kyari and the departing Board members, wishing them continued success in their future endeavors. “We extend our profound gratitude to the outgoing GCEO, Mr. Mele Kyari, and the former Board Members for their selfless and dedicated service to the company and the nation,” the statement added.
NNPC Ltd. also conveyed its appreciation to the former management team of the national oil company under Mr. Kyari’s leadership.
