Forbes: Aliko Dangote Regains Top Spot as Africa’s Richest – Ranked 86th in the World With Networth of $23.9bn

In January 2024, Forbes declared Johann Rupert the richest person in Africa, surpassing Aliko Dangote after the Nigerian billionaire’s net worth dropped by $3.8 billion. Rupert’s fortune soared to $10 billion, while Dangote followed at $9.7 billion. The 73-year-old South African billionaire is the chairman of Compagnie Financière Richemont, a leading Swiss luxury goods company.
