…Pays Courtesy Visit To Lend Support Towards Progress of the Corporation

The Deputy National President of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) of Nigeria, Comrade Kayode Alakija has expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Management of the Lagos Water Corporation (LWC), led by the Managing Director, Engr. Mukhtaar Temitope Tijani, MNSE, FNIEE, over the ongoing transformation process for the progress of the Corporation.

Comrade Kayode Alakija, who is also the President General of the Senior Staff Association of Statutory Corporations and Government Owned Companies (SSASCGOC), stated this while paying a courtesy visit to the Management of LWC on Friday, December 6 2024.

The Union leader, accompanied by members of his executive team was received by the Corporation’s Executive Director (Operations), Engr (Mrs.) Helen Omolanke Taiwo in her Office at LWC Headquarters, Water-House, Ijora, Lagos

Speaking, Alakija assured the LWC’s management of the full support of SSASCGOC on the overall progress of the corporation and staff welfare.

In her swift response, the Engr Omolanke Taiwo appreciated the visit of the Union team. Engr Taiwo, who represented the Managing Director of LWC, also reaffirmed the LWC management’s commitment to staff welfare and the success of the corporation as a whole.

In attendance at the courtesy visit were Comrade Akanbi Ismail from Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), the LWC, Director (Administration & Human Resources) Mr. Hakeem Kosoko, and SSASCGOC branch Secretary, Comrade Alade Olawale.
