The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Ltd. has refuted recent claims about the pricing of products from the Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC), clarifying that the company has not yet begun bulk sales or opened its online purchase portal.
According to the NNPC, essential processes are still being finalized before the portal becomes operational.
In a statement released moments earlier, the corporation explained that the products currently available for sale are sourced from the Dangote Refinery, with all relevant NMDPRA fees included in the pricing.
According to the statement, these products are presently limited to NNPC’s retail stations, with prices subject to periodic review and adjustment based on operational realities.
The NNPC further urged the public to disregard misleading information circulating about pricing, emphasizing that any official updates regarding price changes or the launch of the sales portal will be made through formal channels.
