President Bola Tinubu has commiserated with the family, friends and colleagues of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who died in London on Friday.
He was 52 years old.
The president condoled with the National Assembly, and the government and people of Anambra State over the sad loss.
The deceased was the founder of Capitol Oil and a football team. He was twice elected as the Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District at the National Assembly.
He was elected on the platform of the YPP.
Some months ago, he crossed over to the ruling APC.
In September 2022, Ifeanyi Ubah survived an assassination attempt, while on his way to Nnewi. At least five people, including 2 policemen, were killed when the assassins attacked his convoy.
