- Hon Engr Thomas Aruku Commends The Process In Cross River North
The Deputy Speaker of Cross River State House of Assembly (CRSHA), Rt. Hon Sylvester Agabi, flagged off the distribution of Federal Government Palliatives in ADP, Ogoja Local Government Area in the presence of representatives of political parties, HRM Ntol Ama Mgbeje of Ishiborr Clan and Cross River State House of Assembly Members representing Yala 1 and 2, Bekwarra, Obudu, Obanliku and Ogoja State Constituency who played host.
The process was carried out in a fair and transparent manner. The Deputy Speaker, who in his speech urged the people to be patient, said the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the People’s First Mandate may be slow, but the reforms are germane and timely.
He maintained that the distribution is done to capture the very poor and vulnerable in society. “Regardless of party affiliation, we are united in our humanity, and it is this shared bond that unites our actions today”.
Reacting, Hon Engr Thomas Aruku, Member representing Ogoja State Constituency, urged the people to be patient as protest is not an option. He encouraged them to continue to support the administration of Sen Prince Bassey Otu and Sen Bola Ahmed Tinubu to deliver dividends to our people. He reiterated that “just like Local Government reforms, change is the necessary sacrifice we must pay to pull our nation out of the woods”.
There is visibly a bunch to know about this. I believe you made some good points in features also.
