The Nigerian Institution of Environmental Engineers, Lagos State Chapter is set to partner with Green Biofuels Limited towards distribution of clean cooking stoves to its members.
This was an outcome of the demonstration held by Green Energy Biofuels at the annual conference of the NIEE Lagos held today at Ikeja.
Led by Mr Femi Oye, the Chief Executive of GE-Biofuels, the company’s brand of Clean cooking stoves, called Kike Stove was presented alongside a demonstration of how the stove works with Biogel.
According to Mr Oye, a social investor and impact developer, Kike Stoves has sold over 1million units across Africa. And the fuelstock, which is the Biogel, is readily available for purchase.
Applauding the strides of Gebiofuels, the Chairman of NIEE Lagos Chapter, Engr Yusuf Majolagbe stated that a committee would be set up to work with the company towards ensuring that members would be able to benefit fully from the partnership.
