Following the interruption of Water supply in some parts of Lagos State on Wednesday 12th April, 2023, as a result of damaged 1200mm water pipes at Ogudu underbridge by an articulated vehicle, Lagos Water Corporation has announced repair of the damaged pipes, as water supply has been restored to the affected community and its environs.
The Managing Director /CEO, Engr. Muminu Adekunle Badmus made this declaration today Tuesday 18th, April, 2023 in Lagos.
In his statement, Engr. Badmus stated, “our team of engineers have temporarily repaired the damaged 1200mm water pipes towards urgent restoration of water supply in the State.
“Presently, Water has been restored to the affected community and its environs, and we assure you of continous improvement in water supply.
“We therefore regret any inconveniences caused during the period of water disruption, as LWC is working assiduously to supply every home in Lagos.”.
Engr. Badmus however, thanked the residents for their continous understanding, cooperation and support, as the Corporation is ever committed towards sustaining the improved service delivery in Lagos State.
LWC had earlier reported a setback suffered, following a trailer accident that occurred last Wednesday 12th April, 2023 at Ogudu underbridge, which destroyed properties worth millions of Naira.
