At the 2025 Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Associations Alliance (REEEAA) International Conference in Lagos, renewable energy expert Dr. Omotayo Dairo called for the inclusion of biomass technologies in Nigeria’s energy transition strategy. He said such integration could power rural industrialization, unlock value addition, and raise agriculture’s contribution to national GDP from 26% to 40% within five years.
