Egbin Power Plc’s annual medical outreach, the flagship initiative of its Personal Corporate Social Responsibility (PCSR) programme, continues to make a lasting difference in the lives of residents across its host communities, with beneficiaries describing the 2025 edition as a life-changing intervention that brings renewed hope and wellbeing.
Now in its eighth year, the 2025 outreach delivered essential healthcare services to residents of Egbin, Ipakan, and Ijede, drawing large turnouts from community members eager to benefit from the programme’s comprehensive health offerings.
Speaking on the impact of the initiative, Felix Ofulue, Head of Corporate Communications & Branding at Egbin Power, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to bridging the healthcare access gap and improving community well-being.
“At Egbin Power, we believe good health is fundamental to life. By enhancing access to healthcare, we are improving productivity, strengthening communities, and advancing societal sustainability. Our efforts align with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3) — ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all. Every individual deserves the opportunity to thrive,” Ofulue stated.
Community leaders expressed deep appreciation for Egbin Power’s sustained commitment to healthcare delivery.
High Chief Aliu Musediq, the Regent of Ijede, praised the company’s dedication, noting that “this outreach demonstrates Egbin Power’s unwavering concern for our health and quality of life. The impressive turnout is proof of how valuable this initiative has become to our people.”
Similarly, High Chief Mustapha Lasisi, the Baale of Ipakan, highlighted the long-term benefits of the programme:

Residents also shared personal stories of impact and gratitude. Mrs. Abosede Nofiu, a retired civil servant, said, “Egbin Power has shown us true care. The free medical services have improved my health and that of many others. We now live healthier and more informed lives.”
Organised in collaboration with Ceccy Health, the outreach featured a wide range of medical services — including eye examinations, diabetes management, malaria and arthritis treatment, dental care, and blood pressure screening. Beneficiaries received free medications, medicated eyeglasses, glucometers, blood pressure monitors, and wellness kits after their consultations.
Mrs. Ife Honfo, a local hairdresser, shared her experience: “The doctors were attentive and explained my condition clearly. I received free medications and learned practical ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle. It was truly enlightening.”
The atmosphere during the outreach was filled with gratitude as residents left not only with medications but also with renewed confidence in their health and wellbeing.
