The Lagos State Parks and Gardens Agency (LASPARK) has been honoured for its outstanding environmental sustainability efforts during the 25th National Women’s Conference of the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO), held recently at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The recognition came through the COWLSO Impact Awards, which celebrated individuals and institutions that have contributed significantly to the development and well-being of Lagos State. LASPARK received accolades for its continuous drive towards a cleaner, greener, and healthier Lagos through innovative environmental initiatives.
The Agency’s initiatives, ranging from tree planting campaigns, urban beautification projects, to the creation of eco-friendly recreational spaces, align with the vision of the Lagos State Government to promote environmental sustainability and climate resilience.
Speaking after receiving the award, the General Manager of LASPARK, Mrs. Adetoun Popoola, expressed appreciation to COWLSO and the First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, who also serves as COWLSO Chairman, for the recognition.
She reaffirmed the Agency’s commitment to maintaining and expanding green infrastructure across the State.
She noted that the award would further inspire the Agency to intensify efforts in promoting public participation in tree planting and environmental protection, in line with the State Government’s “Greener Lagos” agenda.
Mrs. Popoola recalled that the agency recently played a role in the renovation of the Boys Correctional, Rehabilitation and Vocational Training Centre in Isheri on behalf of COWLSO.
Specifically, she disclosed that the Agency’s contribution was in the area of landscaping to tree planting, a basketball court, an outdoor gym, recreational equipment, park benches, waste bins and a beautiful mural to welcome visitors into the centre. It aims to create an environment that fosters growth, healing and empowerment.
The 25th anniversary edition of the COWLSO National Women’s Conference, with the theme “Building Legacy, Strengthening Institutions”, was graced by Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, top government officials, dignitaries, and delegates from within and outside Lagos.
The event also witnessed several outstanding recognitions, empowering discussions, and the presentation of star prizes, including a new home and a GAC pickup truck, to lucky participants, as COWLSO celebrated 25 years of impact and service to humanity.
Fascinating blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere? A theme like yours with a few simple adjustements would really make my blog stand out. Please let me know where you got your theme. Cheers
One thing I’d really like to reply to is that weightloss routine fast can be performed by the appropriate diet and exercise. An individual’s size not just affects the look, but also the actual quality of life. Self-esteem, depressive disorders, health risks, as well as physical abilities are damaged in putting on weight. It is possible to just make everything right and still gain. In such a circumstance, a problem may be the perpetrator. While excessive food and not enough body exercise are usually responsible, common medical conditions and traditionally used prescriptions could greatly amplify size. Thanks alot : ) for your post here.
I would love to add that if you do not actually have an insurance policy or you do not belong to any group insurance, you will well benefit from seeking the aid of a health agent. Self-employed or people with medical conditions generally seek the help of a health insurance dealer. Thanks for your article.

I have seen a lot of useful issues on your site about pcs. However, I’ve got the opinion that lap tops are still not nearly powerful enough to be a wise decision if you often do jobs that require loads of power, including video editing. But for net surfing, microsoft word processing, and a lot other popular computer functions they are okay, provided you do not mind the screen size. Many thanks sharing your notions.
Would you be keen on exchanging hyperlinks?
I have observed that charges for internet degree authorities tend to be an excellent value. For instance a full 4-year college Degree in Communication from The University of Phoenix Online consists of 60 credits with $515/credit or $30,900. Also American Intercontinental University Online offers a Bachelors of Business Administration with a full program element of 180 units and a worth of $30,560. Online studying has made getting your diploma far more easy because you can certainly earn your current degree in the comfort of your dwelling place and when you finish from office. Thanks for other tips I have learned through the web site.
I’m really enjoying the design and layout of your site. It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more pleasant for me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a designer to create your theme? Excellent work!
Many thanks for sharing these types of wonderful discussions. In addition, the right travel as well as medical insurance strategy can often ease those concerns that come with touring abroad. Any medical emergency can quickly become too expensive and that’s certain to quickly put a financial weight on the family’s finances. Setting up in place the excellent travel insurance package prior to leaving is well worth the time and effort. Thanks a lot

I discovered more new things on this weight reduction issue. 1 issue is a good nutrition is very vital while dieting. A tremendous reduction in fast foods, sugary food, fried foods, sweet foods, red meat, and white-colored flour products may be necessary. Possessing wastes parasites, and wastes may prevent desired goals for fat-loss. While selected drugs quickly solve the matter, the unpleasant side effects are usually not worth it, and they also never present more than a temporary solution. It can be a known undeniable fact that 95 of celebrity diets fail. Many thanks for sharing your opinions on this blog.

Interesting post here. One thing I’d like to say is always that most professional domains consider the Bachelors Degree as the entry level standard for an online degree. Even though Associate Degrees are a great way to start, completing the Bachelors opens up many entrances to various occupations, there are numerous internet Bachelor Course Programs available through institutions like The University of Phoenix, Intercontinental University Online and Kaplan. Another issue is that many brick and mortar institutions make available Online variants of their diplomas but commonly for a extensively higher cost than the companies that specialize in online higher education degree plans.
