Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a N30 reduction in the ex-depot (gantry) price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), bringing the price down from N850 to N820 per litre.
According to a statement by Anthony Chiejina, Chief Branding and Communications Officer of Dangote Group, the reduction takes effect from today, 12 August 2025.
Reaffirming its unwavering commitment to national development and energy security, the refinery assured Nigerians of a steady and uninterrupted supply of petroleum products.
Complementary to this reduction, the Group will begin the phased rollout of 4,000 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered trucks for fuel distribution across the country from Friday, August 15, 2025. This is an affirmation of the group’s drive towards providing cleaner and more sustainable energy logistics.
This initiative underscores the company’s dedication to operational excellence, reducing carbon emissions, and supporting Nigeria’s transition to alternative energy solutions.
