Special Marshal Olabisi Elected Lagos State Coordinator, RS2.1 Special Marshals
Dr Dennis Olabisi has been elected the new Lagos State Coordinator of RS2.1 Lagos Special Marshals.
Newsmen reports that the election and subsequent inauguration ceremony of Special Marshal (SM) Olabisi took place at the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Sector Command, Ojodu, Lagos.
The ceremony was attended by top officials of the Corps, special marshals, and dignitaries from across the state.
In his acceptance speech, Olabisi expressed deep gratitude to God for the opportunity to serve and pledged to lead with integrity, unity, and a focus on development.
According to him, his tenure will prioritise insurance cover for special marshals in the state and also see to their welfare.
He described the moment as a new chapter for the Lagos Special Marshals — one of innovation, collaboration, and strengthened volunteerism.
“I stand here with a heart full of gratitude and humility. This is not just a personal milestone but a testament to God’s grace and the collective trust of our dedicated Special Marshals,” Olabisi said.
He commended the Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, for his visionary leadership and reforms that have enhanced the Special Marshals scheme across Nigeria.
He also appreciated Dr. John Ugbebor, the National Coordinator of Special Marshals, for his dedication to discipline and unity among volunteers.
She acknowledged the support and leadership of key figures in the zone, including Assistant Corps Marshal Ann Oluwakemi Oladayo-Odeleye, Zonal Commanding Officer for RS2 (Lagos and Ogun States), and Elder Solomon Olatunji Adeniyi, Zonal Coordinator for Zone RS2.
He also paid tribute to the late SM Olusola Olojede, former Zonal Coordinator, describing him as “a great man whose legacy remains deeply etched in our hearts.”
Olabisi praised his predecessor, SM Olusegun Akintan, for laying a solid foundation and pledged to build upon his legacy.
“Through God’s grace, we shall not only preserve what has been built but advance it to new heights,” Olabisi affirmed.
He further lauded the outgoing State Executive for their selfless service and acknowledged the support of both past and current Unit coordinators, deputy coordinators, and secretaries who contributed to his team’s emergence.
Reiterating his commitment to the welfare of all Special Marshals, Olabisi announced plans to unveil a comprehensive leadership agenda that prioritizes inclusiveness, communication and capacity-building.
“We will run a government that listens, acts, and delivers.
“RS2.1 Lagos Special Marshals will, by God’s grace, remain a leading example across the nation,” Olabisi said.
Earlier, the Lagos Sector Command, Corps Commander Kehinde Hamzat urged the newly elected officers to be committed and disciplined and also to surpass the achievement of their predecessors.
Newsmen reports that other members of the team included: SM Tokulah Joseph, Deputy State Coordinator, SM Joann Otaru, Secretary, SM Janet Adeyemi, Treasurer, to mention but a few.

Dr. Olabisi Olasunmoye Dennis is a seasoned Public Health Consultant, Road Safety Advocate, and accomplished Executive Leader with over 30 years of experience in public health, safety, and environmental management.
He is the Managing Director/CEO of Fumigaclean Limited and the Principal Partner at Fumigaclean Consulting, both of which specialize in public health services in partnership with local and international stakeholders.
A graduate of the University of Lagos, Dr. Dennis has held several strategic leadership roles in the Federal Road Safety Corps (Special Marshals), including State Secretary of RS2.1 Lagos and Assistant Zonal Secretary for Lagos and Ogun States.
He is also the National PRO of the Pest Control Association of Nigeria (PECAN) and has led numerous professional training programs for institutions like Babcock University and Lagos Business School.
He is a Distinguished Fellow of the Institute of Leadership Manpower and Management Development, a Fellow of both the Institute of Oil and Gas Research and the Occupational Safety and Health Association (UK).
Dr. Dennis has received multiple awards for excellence and leadership, including the FRSC Excellence Award, the Living Hero Award, and a Special Recognition Award at the Nigeria Automotive Industry Awards.
He is married to Mrs. Grace Oladunmomi Olabisi, a respected educationist, and they are blessed with children.
